Today modern calisthenics is popular among athletes and the fitness community. Whether used as a primary part of a training regime, or used as accessories to compliment a weight program. Calisthenics has many applications and places within different styles of training.
Body weight training is used heavily for its functionality and strength/mobility components. That are a perfect fit for Gymnasts, MMA & Fighting Athletes and of course IronxStone Vikings!
Calisthenics can be as basic as Push Ups on your knees and as advanced as Full Muscle Ups on the bar. Calisthenics has its place at IronxStone as an integral part of our training week.
